Samsung Galaxy J1

According to an established Mumbai-based retailer, Samsung's new Galaxy J1 Ace smartphone has gone on sale in India. Priced at Rs. 6,400, the smartphone is now reportedly available to buy via physical retailers. It's worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace at the time of writing was not listed on Samsung's India site.
The retailer, Mahesh Telecom, has also shared a complete list of specifications of the smartphone onFacebook. The Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace runs Android 4.4 KitKat and features dual-SIM support, a 4.3-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) Super Amoled display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.
It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 64GB). The smartphone sports a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and also packs a 2-megapixel front camera on board. The Galaxy J1 Ace measures 130.1x67.6x9.5mm.
On the connectivity front, the Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, A-GPS, and Bluetooth options. It is backed by an 1800mAh battery.
Last month, Samsung launched the Galaxy S6 Edge+ at Rs. 57,900 for the 32GB variant.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ features a 5.7-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) Super Amoled display with a pixel density of 515ppi, and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 SoC with four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2.1GHz, and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz, apart from 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The Galaxy S6 Edge+ smartphone features a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and optical image stabilisation, apart from a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The camera app can be opened with a double press on the home button, which also bears the fingerprint sensor. A Live Broadcast feature is also being touted.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ has no microSD card slot, and features a 3000mAh non-removable battery.
