How to Connect HTC One to a Wi-Fi Network

Wi-Fi indeed gives you numerous reasons to connect to it and walk around freely while checking or sending emails from your HTC One smartphone, downloading a movie while watering plants or sitting in the garden, video-calling your friends while digging out spoon in your favorite chocolate pudding, posting tweets or Facebook updates, shuffling through your podcasts, newspapers or magazines, or streaming Netflix or Hulu TV shows from your Roku sitting 3 rooms deep inside your house on to it, or playing online games etc. It’s fun and at the same time convenient going Wi-Fi on your brand new HTC One smartphone device to stay connected to your world while keeping a tab on what’s going in the world or the space. Here you go with the steps to turn on Wi-Fi in your HTC One smartphone and connect to your Wi-Fi network.




Step 1
Tap “Settings” from the notification arena to launch the “Settings” screen.

From the “Settings” screen, tap the “Wi-Fi” button to set it “On”. As you can see that it’s “Off” here, once I toggle the button, it gets set to “On”. Now that the Wi-Fi service is turned on, it will begin scanning for the available Wi-Fi networks within your reach. Move on to the next step now.

Step 3
Now you can see the available Wi-Fi networks for connection. Tap your Wi-Fi network and then tap the “Connect” button. If your Wi-Fi network is password-protected, your will be prompted for one. Enter the wireless security key and then, tap the “Connect” button. It’ll take a moment for your Wi-Fi network to validate the key and connect to it. Now that you are connected to your Wi-Fi network, get set go with wireless browsing, online gaming, YouTube videoing, streaming movies, and Hulu TV shows, emailing, and a lot more.
